Tips for Christmas Shopping?
I recently started my Christmas shopping. I have ordered things from LTD commodities but they are still expensive on many things. I'm trying to shop mostly online but I would love any tips that anyone may have.

You have the right idea --- start EARLY. Wait for the best deals. . . shop the clearance sections of the stores you frequent. Check out www.mycoupons.com for codes for shipping, etc.

I ordered some gifts online. I ordered some books from bookcloseouts.com but I wouldn't recommend them as the books that I am giving as gifts have a big red stamp on them. This is a overage type site, not used books and although I paid a little less than retail, I still paid good money for the books, so I am really disappointed in them.
I ordered other books from the author at a good discount and those are in perfect condition. I am very pleased with them.
Otherwise the remaining gifts that I have gotten so far have not been online purchases.
I hope that you get some good ideas.

Check Ebay and Amazon. Look for free shipping deals at Target.com and Walmart.com. When you buy on Ebay a lot of merchants will give a discounted shipping for multiple purchase. Just ask!
Good luck!

Kohls.com has some good deals from time-to-time. I found some on Black Friday last year.

Honestly? Make it throught this year and shop like CRAZY right after Christmas. Part of it depends on what you're looking for, but I'm known as sensible and if they don't like sensible then oh well. I'm done with Christmas this year, bought in late winter last year. The men in the families are all getting nice lined flannel shirts, the women nice fuzzy robes, and cute too! The nieces are all 12 and under (all one family) and getting a HUGE box of hats, scarves and TONS of gloves, they lose them all the time.
I spent all of $25.00, would have cost me over $200.00 at full price just before Christmas last year.

Thanks for all the great ideas! Last year I did about 80% of my shopping on Christmas Eve
Needless to say I was up until 4 am then had to be at my parents by 8 am. I was exhausted!!

At least you're planning ahead this year. I crochet so I give hats, scarves, bags, etc. I also did my own stenciling last year and made some pretty cool T-shirts and tote bags. I bought t-shirts at AC Moore when they were 5/10.00; used freezer paper, my inkjet printer and an exacto knife. Maybe you could make your some of your own gifts.

i used to work at acmoore. had serious probs with new manager. he stuck his finger up his nose and put it in my coffee!
anyway becarfeul with t shirts because most are irregular and they run real small. fyi everyone can use a 40% coup even an infant. as long it is a seperate trans.fyi if u return something w/o recipt they will try to give you only 50% of its value.
yeah i havent shopped there sence the day i left right before xmas.sorry if this sounded mean just wanted to vent and hopefully help out a bargain shopper
