    Question Christmas present for babysitter?

Is it tacky to give cash for a Christmas present/bonus for a part-time babysitter/nanny who is AWESOME or would a gift certificate be a better option?

I don't think it's tacky at all. Cash is always a good gift and a bonus is usually cash, so it fits.

Cash is a great gift or if you feel weird handing her cash... get her an american express gift card.

I think cash is good too, atleast that way she can buy what she wants from any store.

I usually try to surprise my daycare provider with random cash bonuses. She loves them.

Just get a nice little (or make one) Christmas card and get a super crisp bill from your bank.

I'm sure she will love it.
