Cute Candy Corn favor
I just made the cutest Thanksgiving favors for very little money so I thought I would share.
You will need the following:
Sugar cones
Candy to fill the cones
Tissue paper Orange and white
Yellow ribbon
Tape
Cut the orange tissue paper into squares that are large enough to wrap around the ice creme cone. Wrap each cone with a layer or two of issue paper, leaving the top part open. Fill the cone with candy corn, M&Ms or whatever you have. Twist the orange paper over the top, cut off the excess and tape it shut. This gives you an sugar cone, filled with candy, covered in orange paper and taped shut.
Then wrap a strip of white tissue around the pointed end of the cone. You now have the orange and white section that resembles a piece of candy corn.
Wrap the yellow ribbon in a strip where the white and orange tissue paper meet.
Place these in a basket and let the children select one for an after dinner treat!
I think we could probably refine it a bit and also make carrots to use at Easter! LOL. What fun
