Default How many on your Christmas list?

We have whittled down the number of people we buy gifts for. I have:

    dh
    dd
    ds
    ds's girlfriend
    mom
    1 cousin
    2 aunts (very small gifts)
    3 friends

That's 11... plus dh buys for me so our total is ~12~. We used to buy for more, but we told them we wanted to stop exchanging gifts. These are relatives who we rarely see, so we never knew what to get them!

Dh & I buy for each other, our four kids, his mom & dad, my mom & dad, my grandfather, and then we draw four names of neices/nephews (I got all nephews this year lol) for Christmas day at my moms.

    Total: 15 people

Oh, plus we buy the boys' teachers each a gift. I got ornaments for them.

We have 24 people and 6 animals on our list.

In the early 90's when DH and I were first married our list was over 75 people long - all relatives except two or three.
~Over the years we have stopped buying for the relatives we never see.
~Then my best friend and I decided we would stop buying for each other's families.
~My mom's side of the family decided to start doing a Dirty Santa game instead of everyone buying for each other. The only four people in the family who get a gift from everyone are my two kids and my Uncle's two boys.
~The private instructors that we hired to homeschool our kids do not celebrate Christmas with gifts. So we don't buy them anything - per their request.
~Finally I stopped buying for my mother's husband and his two kids because I can't stand him or his evil offspring.

I don't want mine to get any smaller. I love buying for people.

    Let see...

    dh
    ds
    mom
    mil & fil
    sil
    2 nephews (sil)
    1 niece (sil)
1 niece & nephew (my side)...I send them money, they are always saving up for something large...new saddle, new gear, etc.
    3 grandnieces
    1 grandnephew

that's 15 in all. DH and I really don't buy too much for each other. Just socks and something small...I really have all I want.
My family is large and money is tight, so we don't exchange. we only give to the kids under 18, or until they graduate, whichever comes first. I only give my Mom gc's for restaraunts since she doesn't drive anymore and when friends bring her somewhere, she likes to treat them for lunch. This way, she doesn't have to dip into her regular budget.

None. We don't give gifts at Christmas. We do send out our own handmade Christmas cards, but that's pretty much it.

We do give gifts throughout the year as we feel led. All the nieces and nephews have quilts now. I am also working on getting family photos scanned into the computer and like doing photo projects. So people never know when a framed photo or a booklet of photos and family stories might arrive in their mailbox.

We do sometimes give things to charities -- but often wait till later because people often forget the need continues all year.

    - Grandma
    - Grandpa
    - Uncle N.
    - Aunt M.
    - Cousin N.
    - Cousin M.
    - DBF's dad
    - DBF's mom
    - DBF's sis
    - DBF's sis' boyfriend

10 people this yr. (and then DBF and myself for each other) because the family decided that the adults would draw names rather than buying for everyone. The two cousins I bought for are both under 12 and were not included in the name-drawing.
