Oh sure -- I have several gifts put back for next Christmas already. I made a plethora of potholders, so some are waiting next years gift baskets. . . I have a mountain of hats, so some went to charity, some I put back for either winter birthday gifts or next Christmas. . .

Yeah...the only draw back that I have is that for that"ONE MAJOR PRESENT" that each of the children want, I have to procrastinate until November next year to purchase. Kid's preferences change like crazy. For awhile its Turtles...then its Pokemon. But the other gifts to fill in the gaps, I am getting a jump start on

Well, I certainly haven't started any, since I'm still in a time-crunch panic over this year. But I've been thinking about it, and I started a list of ideas. I plan to begin as soon as I'm ready for this year (hopefully that will be before Dec 25
).
I don't ever want to feel the stress that I feel right now. I still have people, very important people, that I don't even have ideas for. Next year, I will be ready on time.

For several years I haven't thought about Christmas until October. But as part of my ~new-frugality~ I'm going to plan ahead for Christmas 2008. I'm getting together my financial notebook for 2008, and this year it includes a section just for Christmas. I'll jot down ideas and look for bargains. This time next year I can report back if it made a dent in my budget

Well.... Sorta yes and sorta no... I'm going to embroider a set of pillowcases for my mom for Christmas next year...I haven't started the work on them at ALL yet...but I did buy the set (on mega sale!) and the thread for it. Does that count a little bit? I also have the yarn for kitchen dishrags (crocheted) for my mom for next year... And I know Dh will get a video game next year, too...that's a given.
