Default What is for Christmas Dinner?

My kids are having 3 Christmas dinners this year, so they begged me not to make the traditional turkey and stuffing. So we are having a "Feliz Navidad"

Garlic beef enchiladas (bean ones for Chloe)
    Taco salad
    Spanish rice
    Refried beans
    Guacamole

Merry Christmas, all! I bet that not very many people will post on here today!

Well here in Holland we have 2 Christmas days. The 25th and the 26th. Today it's just me,DH and the kids. Tomorrow we will be going to my SIL & BIL's place and most of my husbands family will be there. We are going to have our "Christmas dinner" there. So today we are taking it easy but are going to eat a big roast (which I got from work)and different yummy things (warm salad, potatoes and a great icecream cake for dessert).

I think you'll be surprised how many people post here today.

We had a nice Ham dinner here last night when dd came with her boyfriend, since she won't be here today. Not easy this sharing of your kids business, supposed to be that way but I still grumble now & then. Big hugs to those of you who have to share your kids, no matter what age.

Today it will be ds, hubby & I. We are rotissering a beef eye of the round and serving it with either baked potatoes or fruited rice pilaf and some spinach sauteed with garlic.

We're home for the first time ever on Christmas for our own dinner. Family dinners and parties are all on different days for a change this year.

Tonight we're having fried pork chops (a rare treat), ranch potatoes, steamed broccoli, and whatever else I decide to cook this afteroon. Oh, and Christmas cookies for dessert.

I am going to my friends house: turkey, mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, sweet potato pudding with peaches, pumpkin pie, friendship bread, wine... I think I've covered it all.

Tonight I 'only' have 20 people coming over (down from 30 last night)and I am making Chicken Marsala over noodles or Swedish meatballs over noodles, and veggie tray, cheese ball and summer sausage tray, little smokies with the crescent roll dough, cookies, candy and homemade buckeyes, sodapop and homemade Bailey's Irish Creme. TADAAAAAA!

Tomorrow I'm cashing in my change jar and we're having pizza!

We try to observe/celebrate the Christ Presence in our lives and in the world every day. Every day is special/sacred.

Dinner today is fairly simple -- roast, fresh steamed gr. beans, raw broccoli and cauliflower and a jello salad.

Lasagna. The idea was to make it ahead of time so I wouldn't have to cook today. THAT didn't happen
