~Good for you! I don't put up holiday decorations but I did decorate a bit for the three b-days we had this week. I took them down the day after the last b-day. They're fun but they feel like clutter after a while. Now to find room for all their new toys.....~

Doesn't it feel great to have your house back? I don't know how you feel. I think it is fun to decorate for the holidays, but I enjoy decluttering my living room when it is over.

All of our indoor stuff is down, dh just needs to put the boxes back in the attic. It's been raining for a week here so the lights are still outside.

I think I will be taking mine down next Saturday. We wanted to leave the decorations up for New Year's Eve and I just won't have time again to take down decorations until next Saturday. I will enjoy one more week of looking at my decorations. This time of year goes by so quickly.

I took it easy on the decorating this year, and actually gave away a LOT of the decorations that were donated to us last year. (For those of you who weren't here, someone stole my tree and ornaments and my friends and neighbors all stopped by with things they no longer wanted).

I should get off my backside and take the things down. Every time I turn around there is something else I need to be doing.
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

I've washed all my Christmas dishes and linens but haven't done anything else toward packing up Christmas. Maybe tomorrow.....

I always take my Christmas stuff down New Years Day and do a mega cleaning. (Yeah, we are party-animals around here, lol!)

I can't wait - it was pretty at first but now I think it looks sort of messy.

I am so envious of you all. I was going to take it down Saturday (it didn't happen) then I was going to take it down today (it didn't happen). So now I'm telling myself tomorrow. I can't stand it....but at times it seems a little overwhelming, with everything else that needs to get done, before I have to go back to work.
