I'm going to redo my kids Christmas stockings. I'll post a picture when I'm finished. I'm also going to be making some homemade ornaments.

I'm not sure I should count this, but I'm knitting a scarf for one of my clients. (I'm a social worker) The thing is, it's for Christmas, but for 2007 -- I'm running LATE! I haven't even begun to think about Christmas 2008. But I guess I better if I don't want to be late next year!

I'm a but thought I'd join in too!
I have my list all made up and decided to work on a multiple gifts for this year...

    * first up is a set of dishcloths - for everyone (15 of 49)
    * next up will be a sweater I started in '06 but will have to frog due to shrinkage of the recipient.
    * another sweater started in '05 - also needs frogging due to growth of the recipient.

So I have my work cut out for me!

I have nearly finished a baby rug to go in my collection (should finish it in the next couple of days).

After that I am going to be crocheting a rug for our new lounge that will arrive in early June. I had begun crocheting a rug for my bed about three years ago and never finished it. It is in all different types of squares which are not sewn together yet. So I will pull it out and redesign it and finish it off for the lounge. The colours are perfect for it.

Then we will hopefully know if we are having a boy or a girl and I will be able to make some more rugs and a couple of outfits I have my eye on making.

So I will be busy for a while.

Not sure yet. I need to get in gear. Definitely something useful. I'll post something when I think of it. Maybe knit dish clothes. Sew handkerchieves for the guys.

I'm still working on the quilt for my mil and I am about to start one for my bils girlfriend. They have no blankets, "borrowed" my favorit one that I said she had to give back and tore a hole in it and have yet to return it. SO I am just going to have to make her her own so I can get mine back.

    Default Christmas

My goal is to have Christmas (except for my children) done by the end of summer. I look every day online for SUPER deals, but so far nothing. I am not crafty, they don't use homemade bath things, would not like jar gifts, and are generally hard to shop for...

Any suggestions for someone not so crafty? I don't have a sewing machine, and can't knit. (lost cause, I know) I need things for men, and women.

    Thank you!

I'm thinking to stick with organization a while more, but making afgans sure does sound nice. I love crafts, crocet, quilts, sewing... recently I've expanded to power tools and re-purposing old stuff (see my photos to see my new kitchen island that was made from recycled stuff)

I've always wanted a off white afgan for my bed.......
maybe sometime soon if the amazement of power tools and how cool they are, ever wears off !
