My Cheapskate Christmas shopping....

I am nearly done with my Christmas shopping.... I have gotten most of it on clearance, yard saling, thrift store shopping or made.....
For free this year.....
2- $25.00 GC for the Disney store (dh & I did test drives for Mazda) (1 is for dd 1- is for Sister)
2- Jeep rolling backpacks (for test driving Jeeps) ( ! for dd 1- for ds)
2 free Chanel gift packs (NICE) free when I went to the Chanel store when I was in Vegas this summer (1 for niece 1 for sil)
12 speed mountain bike..... Meijer sale..... $59.99, used the $20.00 off in store coupon for purch over 59.99 then used 4-$10.00 GC I got for switching my prescriptions to their pharmacy (They even matched the price on Scripts) net price= .01c to take it away..... (This is for dd)
Really nice peddle go cart (It looks like a dune buggy) .... Given to me when my neighbor moved... This thing is awesome !!! (For ds #4)
$25.00 GC for Wal-Mart (Got it when I complained about REALLY LOUSY SERVICE I GOT THERE) this is for dh
11 new craftsman tools ( & this one my dh would be unhappy about---- If a craftsman tool is broken or bent Sears will replace no questions asked) well I bought a box full at a yard sale for $1.00 they were in really bad shape...... 11 of them broken... I took them back to Sears and they replaced... Some of them were really outdated but they replaced with a comparable one..... (these are for dh & BIL)
Lots of freebies from BRATS (The dolls) (for dd)
4 head RCA VCR...... free when I had an insurance check-up at my state farm agent..... (This is for dd)
Lots of free software some I traded crafts for at the book store and some free on the internet...... (for the kids)
Lots of goodies from yard sales.... Filled a basket for one of my friends ...she collects Raggedy Anns and Gingerbread men.... She tries to out do me when it comes to thrifty gifts... But not this year !!!
I have a lot of other things I bought at yard sales but this is the best so far........ I am ready to wrap....... I just have to make room in the craftroom to store them.....
I am so excited !!!!!
Even dh is proud of me....... But he would not approve of how I got the tools I am sure.....

I just have to buy a resteruant GC for MIL & FIL..... Them I am done !!!!

Lori you have to teach me how to do this stuff. I know here for a while you can get a free DVD for test drives but i never do it. how do you get the courage up to do that or were you looking for a new vehicle. EXCELLENT DEALS BY THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boy do I wish we could take vehicles for a test drive and get gifts. All you get is rotten sales people who bug you constantly if you take a test drive and don't purchase it.

Did you get a $2500 gift certificate or $25.00 from Walmart. Whatever it was that is awesome.

What an encouragement you are to me. Some neat ideas here for me to look into.

Heh $25.00 is pretty good also. Sure has given me incentive to go after stores if they give poor service.

Lori, I got some great restaurant GC's on EBay for just a few dollars! They are to some really nice places. If you haven't found any place free, or any less expensive, that might be a good place to get the GC's for your MIL and FIL.

I got a big brass Snoopy bank for .50c....for ds#3 he collects Peanuts stuff...
A Casio electronic organizer $1.00 in box but no instuctions.... I found the instructions on the internet on PDF and printed them...this is for dd
A pocket watch with horses on it...50c I took it to the jeweler on the square and he put in a new battery, polished it and put it in box for $2.83...this is for dh
An Avon Elvis statue for $5.00 box and styrofoam too.... $5.00 ...
this is for best friend Mother (she's a friend too )
