gonna make holiday organizer(s)
we have these huge bins full of holiday decorations, folded gift paper, lots of tissue paper, baskets/grass, candles, cardboard (flat like paper) decorations to hang, window stickies... the usual stuff. There's even stuff I've made (crochet/knit/sewn)... like table runners, trivets, holiday stuff.

I've been able to cut it down from THREE bins to a little over one (and i'm talking those huge rubbermaid bins!).
So, here's what I want...
An organizer. Something practical.
I dont really want one of those huge paper roll organizers you see in stores around xmas time, I don't like those and haven't found them handy, as we rarely if ever have more than 2 rolls left over (and i'll end up folding the paper to save space).
Whatever ideas you have, let 'em rip!
(so I can sew 'em back!)
TIA

If you are storing the rolls of wrapping paper, you could sew a tube ( such as a leg of a panty hose) to hold it and put a loop to hang it in the closet. I read someone actually used old panty hose to hang up the paper...

The best place to store that is IN the bins. You've got it right already.
I store all my holiday decorations in those humungous bins... labeled according to type of decor.
For instance a bin for:
White decorations
Red decorations
green decorations
Gold decorations
silver decorations
blue
country
Santa
raindeer
snowman
etc.
Each year, I change the decor to whatever I feel like. Some years it's snowmen with blue and white tree decorations. Other years, plaids. A silver and gold Christmas. No two years are alike and the family can't wait to see what I've done.
So, inside the bins- I use the shirt boxes that gifts came in. The shirt boxes are separated by type of decoration. Ornaments, wall hanging, napkins/placemats/rings... etc. This has kept the decorations clean, neat, and unbroken for many years.
I only take out the bins of the color I want that year.
I keep a mental note of which color is running scarce for those after Christmas sales.
Wrapping paper, ribbon all that paraphanelia goes in a bureau in my sewing room. I have four drawers and each drawer holds something- like bags, ribbons, rolls. The top of the bureau is used as a cutting table. But honestly. I just can't seem to get that stockpile down! (Maybe I don't give enough gifts... or maybe mine aren't wrapped in wrapping paper.. I'll have to take note of that.)
Other options: sew a (tall?) tote like bag that can hold the wrapping paper. Include a pockets for tape, ribbons, scissors (it's nice to have that stuff right there). A section for the bags, flat boxes etc.
But IMO, I would keep your decor safe in a bin like you have it.
For something like this- I use the shirt boxes that I get for gifts. Sometimes even
