Materials Needed:
3" Clay Pot
4- 1 1/2" Clay Pots
4- 2 1/2" Clay Pots
2- 1/2" Wooden Apple
2- 3" Grapevine Wreaths
Birch Branch
Sunflower Pick
Green Sheet Moss
Spanish Moss
3- Sunflower Buttons
Acrylic Paints: Black, White, Pink
Liner Paint Brush
Scrap of Raffia
Aleene's UltimateTM Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
Floral Wire
Wire Cutters
Scissors
Procedure:
Create eyes and mouth on wooden apple with black paint and allow to dry (eyes are 3/8" diameter). Create cheeks with pink paint and highlight eyes with white paint (cheeks are 1/2" diameter). Allow to dry completely.
To create legs, turn two 2 1/2" clay pots upside down and glue green sheet moss to bottoms. Stack remaining 2 1/2" pots on top and glue in place.
To create arms turn two 1 1/2" clay pots upside down and glue green sheet moss to bottoms. Stack remaining 1 1/2" pots on top and glue in place.
Glue green sheet moss inside rim of 3" clay pot and turn it upside down. Glue legs to rim of 3" pot. Glue arms to sides of 3" pot.
Glue green sheet moss across neck and shoulder area and glue wooden apple in place for head. Glue Spanish moss in place for hair.
Decorate with buttons and sunflowers.
