    Default Terra cotta plant markers

I worked on these all weekend!! Took those tiny tiny terra cotta pots, wrote the names of my plants on them with a terra cotta paint pen. Then I painted little flowers on each. I'm no artist, so I did the best I could to do a likeness of the flower. Then with wire, I twisted two strands together, made a shepard's hook, and put the pot on it.

I'm giving these as gifts for the gals here at work. I'll take a larger terra cotta pot, put soil in there, make a little sachet out of fabric, put the seeds in there, and stick the marker in the pot.

I want to make some of these for myself after the holidays.
