I did something similar to this for my mom but we filled it with those glass marble things you put in fish tanks. She doesn't chew gum and thought they would look nice!!

Those gumball machines would be too cute as a teacher gift. They could put small treats, stickers, whatever!
Nothing can taste as good as being thin will feel.
