Who is taking one of B&N online courses?
I started "Caring for Your PC" today and I am LOST!!! I feel like I am reading Chinese! The book you need for the course is about 3 1/2 " thick. It is huge!
I love to read, but this is a chore. I have to keep referring to the glossary to figure out what each acronym means.
I think Kim (Kimmomo3) asked in the other thread if you really need the book(s) they say you do? Yep, in this case you do Kim. The first lesson is to read 3 chapters and then do a system check on your own PC, read the professors lecture, then answer questions all pertaining to what you read in the book.
This is going to be a loooong 4 weeks!

The course if free Robin, but the book is $60. I think online it was cheaper but I decided last minute to take the course (yesterday) and it started today. So I (actually Jack) went to B&N and got the book for me yesterday.
$60 seems like a lot, but what I have spent trying to keep these machines running is even more. If I can find out how to troubleshoot the problems I encounter and fix them without going to a shop or just replacing parts, it will be well worth the $60.
