I have never used this type of service but I was looking at the service that they offer and it seems like a good deal but as always there is a catch. I started looking over the terms of service (the fine print). I saw, but didn't read in full detail, info on the 911 service. It said that it does not support traditional 911 service. There was more info on this but I didn't get the full details.....maybe this is something you can speak to someone about before you get the service. Good luck to you and let us know what you find out.

Heard a news story that the 911 service on most internet phone is messed up. the old 911 stuff is caught up to the latest technology so doublr look into that. No cheap phone service is worth not having 911 IMHO.

I did see that about the 911- they do have it, but when you call, you need to give them your addy and phone #, it doesn't automatically pop up on their end when you call. But you're right, I should call them to find out exactly what the deal is, rather than just assume, and make sure they do have some sort of 911 service for my area. Especially with kids, I don't want to be without that.
