    Default Windows XP Firewall (I need help)

    Something is wrong with my computer and I'm trying my best to do everything I can to fix it without taking it somewhere.
    I don't think my firewall is running and can't find where it is. Does anyone know..? HELP!!

    go to
    start
    my computer
    change settings
    network tasks
    LAN/ Hispeed or whatever internet connection ICON
    click on "change setting" that is on the left column
    click on "advanced" tab
    check internet firewall
    you're done!
