    Exclamation **Windows Critical Updates**

I received this in an email.

Microsoft is urging Windows users to download three

critical patches to fix security flaws that could allow an

attacker to take over a personal computer. Microsoft calls

three of the patches critical and the fourth important.

The patches apply to Windows editions dating back to

Windows 98 as well as server systems going back to Windows

    NT server 4.0.

The patches are available on the Microsoft Web Site

    Windows Update Link

Click the link below to transfer there.

Unless you receive this from Microsoft, never use these kind of links, a lot of viruses are being spread right now like this. I'm not saying this is one, just warning everyone. I make a weekly trip to the Microsoft update site to download any needed updates. The easy and safe way to check if you use Internet explorer is to just click on tools at the toop of the explorer and then click on windows update, it will take you to the update site. Then click scan for updates, it will scn your computer for any neeeded updates. It will list criticle(sp) and others seperate so you can decide which ones you want to download.

I agree with Angie on going directly to the Microsoft site. This email is from a reliable source though so you can use the link they have.

Here is the link for Microsoft updates if you can't find it on your computer.
