Can't access internet

My son, my lovely son.

It started with not being able to access secure sites (Windows XP home edition IE6) after trying everything, I resorted to repairing XP with the install disk - NOW I can't access the internet at all (this puter has a wireless internet connection and it's reading the connection loud and clear just won't go to the web at all)

Any ideas aside from going to Firefox or mozilla

Please Help!!

If you can't get any internet connection, firefox or mozilla won't help you.

I'd call the people at netgear or linksys or whatever your wireless router is...they've always been helpful to me. I've talked to netgear & Linksys & they're great.

If the internet works on one computer & the network is working, I'd have to assume it's a setting on the network not allowing this particular computer to access the net.
