Now what do I DO with my digital pictures?
Mostly I want to store images with some text - basically journalling the occasion, feelings, etc. I don't want to print images. When I have enough images & text, I will burn to CD for safety. Is there a program that does this? TIA!

Hi Valerie
I use Scrapbook Factory program which has lots of different templates/layouts, etc. & you just enter text & upload pics you have on your PC! I bought it from QVC a few years ago but just started using it this past year & made a few picture cards.
I used this pic of my
Keona
in her Santa suit! for our Christmas card. I had to edit it a bit since my cellphone & charger cord was sitting next to her. I also had to edit it to fit in the photo frame
I also used these clips I found online & saved to my PC.
I used this pic for the front of the card!
KEONA

This clip was on the inside w/the greeting text I entered.
Hope you have a doggone
happy holiday!

& then I entered more text for our names!
Love always,
John, Andrea, Keona, Samantha
This side of the card had a
border which was from the scrapbook program.
On the back of the card I used an embossed image of Keona's pic & more text under that which said
What did santa say when he heard
that you'd been good all year long?
Ho, ho, ho!
(just kidding!)
I entered this clip under the text!

Then some more text w/my email addy so relatives/friends can't loose it!
This is the one I use!

Valerie, there is a google program called Picassa, it's a free download. http://picasa.google.com.au/
Picassa will find and organise all your photos and graphics files. You can sort them into folders, post them to your blog or order photos online. I'm not sure it you can add text though, I haven't tried to do that as I have other programs for that. It's worth a look.
