Default Watch out for winfixer Pop-ups!

Watch out for this! Rob had to find a utility online to delete this "scumware" virus-type thingy. I knew it was bogus, but made the mistake of clicking the "X" in the top right corner of the screen to make it go away. With winfixer, clicking the "x" actually is what activates the virus. Instead, you have to do a Ctrl-Alt-Del. Sneaky little ba$tard.

It doesn't actually hurt your computer, but instead what it does is make you download their software in order to get rid of their pop-up. It's criminal, if you ask me.

We got this virus and had to reformat the whole hard drive. Then had to put drivers and all programs in again as if it was a brand new computer. Lots of work.
