So Gabe, how does Alexa work?

You had a huge jump from Jan 4th to Jan 5th, but nothing in two days, days that I would think there would be a big increse.

Do they only update during the week?

And what is the short version of how it actually works? I have fiddled with the thing a bit, but don't really want to read their big long explanation.

They update the rank once a week. My guess is we will see a positive change on the 11th or 12th!

I think they use the toolbar to spider the websites. I just want to see how easy it is to get a high rank with them. After the contest is over you can all uninstall that toolbar if you want.

If you buy something from amazon via the toolbar it should give us referral commission. (I don't really care about that)

It is my hope that maybe we will be shown on the big movers and shakers and perhaps this might attract even more members for a period of time.

I'm with Kimberly though, won't be buying anything from Amazon. Don't have a cc and I'm the one who started the no spending challenge (which I may end up regretting later, especially after spending today).
