    Default alright...brain fart...

ok here's the deal. We have a computer station. It's quite long. 10 ft to be exact. there are three computers on it. the middle station is the homeschool computer. it is being replaced. I don't believe it was hooked up to the internet. I don't think. I can't find anything supporting that it was (cables etc.) My computer is hooked up. Dh's is too. Now. my question is do I need to get an adapter of some sort to hook up ds's computer to the internet? I don't think that there are any more slots to hook it up into the modem. I don't think. If i need to , is there such an adapter that allows this to be done?

    I have myself all confused

    :surprise:

You can get a router. We have a Lynxys (sp) brand. They make them wired or wireless and you can hook up to 4 computers to them. It works basically like a cable splitter.

No your not crazy, lol. Yes you can get a router and have either a wireless connection (which will require you to purchase a wireless card to put into your computer) or you can go directly with a ethernet cable (like a think phone cord) and this plugs in directly to your ethernet card in the back of the computer.
