A few days ago I found a Throat Coolers/Children's Throat Cooler Buy One Get One Free Coupon when I was googling ways to relieve a sore, scratchy or irritated throat for my kids and I. They are non-medicated freezer pops that contain Vitamin C and Honey.

One of those has 500mg honey. That's half a gram. Or 1/50 of a table spoon. I don't think that such minute amounts would have any effect.
