coupon question

okay, i'll be honest. i can spend for the 3 of us and dog about 50$ a week... this includes their meat, kiddo's dairy and all the produce we consume and any staples i need to replace. we dont eat any prepackaged (except occassionaly kiddo's lunch foods).

i'm wondering if there are places that offer coupons for produce?
most of our diet consists of veggies, fruit, legumes, grains... then a little meat & dairy for the guys.

i can RARELY find coupons for these things, and only buy them on special. Many websites I'm visiting and requesting coupons for won't send out "paper coupons" because of the "carbon footprint".

Just wondering about coupons for produce.

The only time I see produce and dairy coupons is as part of a "Buy ____, get milk/salad free" deal. Generally you have to buy some packaged food item like cookies or salad dressing to get the fresh produce item.

There's been a coupon for "cuties" brand tangerines in the paper the last couple weekends, if you buy an entire case of fruit. That's too much for us.

Occasionally one of our local stores has in-store coupons for produce, like celery for 29 cents or store brand dairy items at 50% off, but only usable in that store.

So, in general, I don't expect to see them, or be able to use them efficiently and I just look for whatever veg is on sale that week instead.

earthbound farms sends me coupons for their lettuces....I emailed them and asked to be put on their mailing list
