I've been clipping and collecting coupons, and last weekend was my first time using them. I managed to get two Cascade rinse aids, a bottle of sauce, dog food, a Kashi meal, and two cans of diced tomatoes for free using free product coupons. I also got three packages of Carefree products for free using $1.00 off coupons because Shnuck's had them on sale for $1.00 and I had three coupons.
I had so many coupons it was horrible going through them all, but I finally made a spreadsheet of all of them in alphabetical order with the additional information on the side and it has helped me organize tremendously. I'm not sure if that's the most simple way to stay organized, but it sure made a difference.
WTG! Don't ya just love coupons. A couple of things that might make your life easier... There are websites that have coupon databases. You can just enter what you are looking for and the dates that the coupons were issued will pop up. A couple that I know are: www.afullcup.com and www.spam! It is better fried than typedspam! If you prefer to keep your own spreadsheet, www.taylortownpreview has a weekly list for the Sunday inserts. Could save you a lot of typing.
