Coupon Success!!!

Not long ago I wrote about my store giving me trouble when I tried to use a coupon. I boycotted the store for a few weeks, but it's just too conveniently located.

This past week, they had Kraft salad dressing on sale for $1.47. I had a coupong for $1.50 off 1. I just knew they were only going to give me the $1.47 for it. I was prepared with my Sharpie to mark out the $1.50 on the coupon. There's no way they will be reimbursed for the whole amount, when I can't.

But to my surprise, I got the whole $1.50 off. I made 3 cents on that bottle of dressing.

Good for you. I'm thinking since more people are using coupons to stretch their dollars, some cashiers don't care if they are worth more than the price of the item.They just want to get the customer through their line. Just a couple of weeks ago my WM had Kraft BBQ sauce on sale for .89. I had a Q for $1 off. I told the cashier before she started ringing up my order explaining she would have to adjust the coupon. Did she? Nope she scanned everything and then put my coupons through like usual. The register didn't beep so I took it as a good day for shopping at WM. I love when that happens.
