Iams free bag of food rebate -- rant
Argh! They sent it back to me. (At least it didn't just vanish into a black hole). The letter says I don't have the correct UPC, that only the ones listed in the offer can be used.
The offer says ANY 3.5 or 4lb bag of dry food. I sent in a UPC from a 3.5 lb bag of dry cat food.
I am so frustrated. There is no contact info for this other than their mailing address and I have no idea what I did wrong. As far as I can tell I have exactly what they asked for.Use it up, Wear it out,

That has happened to me before. Just send it back in with a letter telling them that you complied with the request and that it is now their turn to comply to your request: sending the rebate.
Most places lose my UPCs
Once was a cell phone rebate. They said I didn't submit the UPC. Well it was gone from the box. Luckily I had kept a copy. I called and told them a thing or two and resubmitted it.

I resubmitted it today with a brief letter pointing out that the form said "ANY Iams 3.5 - 4lb dry cat food" and my UPC was from Iams 3.5 lb dry cat food. And added that they should ask a supervisor for help if they were unsure. I suspect whoever they hired to process these wasn't the greenest pea in the pod.

Well, my letter must have worked. I got my coupon for a free bag in today's mail. It is good until September. I'll use it next week, the kitties will soon finish the one that is open now.
