Grocery store refused my online coupons
A local grocery store refused to take the coupons I printed from online. This is the first time this has happened to me. The store said they don't get reimbursed for online coupons. Anyone else have this happen? I told the store I will shop where they do take them.

I think alot of stores are not accepting them unless they are from the store website. I was in line today and seen a flyer for a reward for the person responsible for creating and distributing online Charmin TP coupons for 1 free jumbo pack a $13 value. Charmin is the one who has the reward.

Last time I tried to use them meijer and Kroger refused them. They said there are a lot of counterfits out there and have been burned. I haven't tried at any smaller stores as they always have there own issue. As I have changed my eating habits to healthier ways, coupons aren't as much good to me.

A lot of stores here don't take internet coupons.
It's not that hard to create a coupon, or make changes to them. Stores don't get reimbursed for bad coupons.

Almost all the stores here won't take them unless it is from their website...IE JoAnn's, etc. Too much fraud.

Wow, sorry to hear that! I can see them being suspicious of FREE product coupons, but certainly not the cents off ones.
I wonder if you brought the whole page and showed them the source (smartsource, redplum, etc) if that would help. But doesn't it say so right on the coupon, along with the mftr's mailing address? It's lousy that people have cheated and ruined it for some
Hope it changes some how for you. Maybe get in touch with the sites so you could get a letter, or maybe they can inform the stores of the legitimacy themselves.
Wishing you well!
Theresa

It is probably because of all of the ones that people are making up. What store was it at?

I print and use online coupons all the time at Kroger and Walmart. Sometimes the clerk will look them over very carefully, but I have never been refused.

I am a cashier at a grocery store that still accepts coupons printed from online sites. A few times a week we're sent photocopies of several counterfeit coupons making the rounds, there are sooo many.
I feel it's just a matter of time before TPTB disallow any and all coupons not from a newspaper. Vendor coupons directly from a company can be very easily counterfeited with good paper, these coupons look completely authentic and scan perfectly.
