Default WOO HOO - Kroger Sent Me Coupons!

About a month or so ago I signed up to view Kroger's sale flyer online. I also have a Kroger Plus Card that I use to get discounts (so they can track what I buy). In today's mail I received approx. 15 coupons (good until the middle of October). Some are for FREE full size items and some are for cents off (75 cents - $1.50).

The great thing is that they are for items that I buy regularly. So they will come in handy!

I received some coupons from Kroger yesterday too! I got a free jar of Hellmanns Mayo, Gallon Milk, and a dozen eggs. I also got some of the cents off. Gotta love that!

Mine only had one freebie this time -- Swiss Miss cocoa -- but $3 off any meat item is nice. I see some free hamburger or chicken in my future.

I really like that these are, for the most part, keyed to what I buy. Now, if they will just EVER finish the ongoing remodeling so that it's not so unpleasant to shop there....

Oh man do I miss Kroger. Maybe I should email Giant Eagle and ask if they plan on doing anything like this. Enjoy those freebies ladies.

Got mine too. Mom and me were discussing it. We decided we like using the plus card because they use it to tailor the free coupons and discounts to your buying. We trade sometimes. i got free ice cream and cake. If I buy slightly ahead of exp. I can use it for DD's b-day. Gotta love that.!!

I really like it because I cook from scratch so there aren't a lot of coupons that work for me. So Kroger tracks what I purchase and sends coupons for items I actually can use.

My Kroger also has a gas station which has the best prices in the area. For every $100 of groceries purchases, I get a 10 cent a gallon discount on a tank of gas. Plus I use my PayPal debit card as credit and get 1.5% instant cashback on my grocery and gasoline purchase.

They were also great after Hurricane Ike. They held their gas prices and didn't gouge like a lot of other stations did. That really helped because every body was running gasoline generators for two weeks (or longer) after the storm due to no electricity.
