Question about using coupons at Walgreens.
I don't use coupons very often but when I do I try to make them as worthwhile as possible. Here is my situation...
Walgreens had dove deodorant 2/$7.00. If you buy two you get a register rewards for 2.00. So the deodorant will technically be 2/$5.00. Here's my question, If I buy two can I use two coupons that I have or can I only use one coupon? My coupons say "$2.00 off any one Dove deodorant". I assume I can use one for each deodorant since it's not like a BOGO sale. Am I correct about using a coupon for both? And does anyone know if Walgreens will accept both coupons? Oh by the way they are coupons directly from Dove, they are not printed. Thanks in advance.

They should accept them with no problem. If the coupon is for 1 dove product, then yes I would use them both.

I actually decided to call walgreen's 1-800 number to see if they would actually tell me and here is what i was told....
Any time you use a manufacturers coupon to purchase an item that gives you a register reward, your RR will not print out because it is considered a manufacturers coupon. So I could use my two coupons BUT will not get the RRs.Chele

That sucks.
Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

That's odd. I have used manufacture's coupons at Walgreen's on items that offer RR and have gotten my RR every time.

they told me if i had a coupon for ex. $1.00/2 glade airfreshners and they had an ad with buy this air freshner get 1.00 Rewards..i have to choose which discount i want
and they other problem is you can only get rewards for something once..so if you but 10 of something with the reward you would have to buy it separately to get 10 rewards

I started shopping CVS and Walgreens a few months back and have not had any problems using both manufacturers coupons and getting my register rebates. I've been saving a lot of $ at those two stores

Hmm, I've never had a problem with it. Actually, that's the only way I buy items at Walgreens anymore...with a coupon and if I can get RR back.
I'd try it and if it doesn't work, tell them you changed your mind and cancel the transaction.

I know I am late, but in the original post, you should be able to use both cpns and get the register rewards also. I always use cpns to help cut the costs.
I don't have my receipt in front of me, but at our Walgreen's back several months ago, they had Ragu spaghetti sauce on sale..buy 9 (i think)and get 8 register rewards. I bought 10 and used cpns..ended up paying a little over $4 and then got the $8 RR back.
One thing to keep in mind is a RR is a cpn..so if you are paying for an item with an RR and using a cpn always make sure you have at least 1 more item than cpns..Bear..You left
