Default No more IP coupons at my WM

Yesterday I had some trouble w/my internet printed coupons scanning at Walmart. The manager came over and helped me. He said that they are not going to accept any more IP coupons starting at the beginning of 2010.

I guess I won't be going there as much. My local Ingles still takes IP's without any problem.

Has anyone else heard this news?

No, but it's gotten to where I have to fight with them every time I go in with coupons. Last time on 4 coupons she couldn't find them on the receipt and I had to pull them out of the bags. They are really beginning to tick me off. Couldn't find any of the 4 things and they were all multiples of same thing. Example 4 coffee creamers, 4 coupons.

But no, no problem with internet coupons as in being internet. Just plain stupidity.

I just used some here yesterday so maybe its just your wal-mart. I really hate that for you as they help me stay on budget.

Mine had the opposite problem. I had a coupon for a free tube of toothpaste up to $1.25. She gave me the tube free and then credited me $1.25 and then credited me the cost of the item again! I was coming out to the good, but you know what happens when you cheat, it always comes back on you.

Haven't heard anything, NL, but I don't shop at WM that much.

All of our stores are real picky about IP coupons. Will take them if from their own store - IE: JA from JA on-line coupons but Walgrems and Rite Aid won't take anything that is internet printed. Has to be only out of their flyer...no other stores coupons. SUCKS! But they don't price match anything either...including RX.

O.K. Thats Walgreens, rite aid,Kroger,Meijers and now Walmart. Does Target or Kmart?? Do manufacturers realize all the retailers are rejecting the coupons. That makes for anymocity (sp.) between everyone. I hardly use them anymore. Kinda miss it. Weird.

All of our stores have different polices. It's hard to keep track of it anymore, but none of them will take freebie coupons.

    When I shop at WM I :
    1. look for a friendly cashier I know
2.ask if she wants the coupons up front or w/ea. item
3.don't call attention w/too many coupons for the same item
(ex: 5 packs of ChefsRequested steaks! ha ha)

I guess I will either have to learn to price match more efficiently by bringing store flyers w/me or just shop elsewhere....

I have heard of people having problems using internet coupons, but I haven't had a problem. I use them all the time at Kroger and occasionally at WalMart. As a previous poster stated, I don't try to redeem a bunch of the same coupons at one time.

Fewer and fewer place here accept printed coupons. They say due to much fraud.

Not sure if our Wal-mart will excluded them or not. I haven't had any problem with non internet coupons there. I think they do have to scan though.

My daughter used a $5 off Barbie internet coupon at Wal-mart today. The cashier couldn't get it to scan so she had to get an okay from a superior. They just hand typed it in as a vendor coupon for $5.
    Worked for us.

I went back to WM and talked to the manager. He said they will take IP coupons but they have a list of fake coupons that they will not take. He said there is a Velveeta coupon circulating and a fake aluminum foil coupon of some kind. My cashier didn't know anything about this but she did take my IP's.

My WM wont take them... they havent for awhile... My martins grocery is the only one around here that will take them... WM said there were 2 many that were making there own up for free items.
that is the way it works though.... a few ruin it for all....

I just used a batch of both flyer and IP coupons at Kroger the other day - saved over $10 and over $45 by using my Kroger card.
