I would love to be able to shop for someone & be able to keep the money I save with coupons LOL. Maybe one day that will become a reality.

What a bi**ch...to act like she didn't know you after being so nice. That would be the last interaction I had with her PERIOD.
Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

    My philosphy...

First time is free, take it when it is given freely -- if you choose not to take it when offered expect to be charged.

I am by no means an expert, but I know how to write a budget.

--If you come knocking on my door and cry poor-mouth and say you need a budget... sit and listen.
--If you come knocking on my door and cry poor-mouth and say you need a budget because you thought you were too important to listen the first time, you will compensate me for my time in a way we agree on. Cook my family dinner or clean my bathroom... something!
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

I have been studying the u-tube couponers and there was a video contest on couponing and stockpiling. I think it was thru spam! It is better fried than typedspam! It is better fried than typedspam! It is better fried than typedspam! It is better fried than typedspam! It is better fried than typedspam! It is better fried than typedspam! It is better fried than typedspam! It is better fried than typedspam! It is better fried than typedspam! It is better fried than typedspam! It is better fried than typedspam! It is better fried than typedspam! It is better fried than typedspam! It is better fried than typed?? But it was set to the song "why can't we be friends" and it was hilarious". Look for the coupons song. In the video she is in the arbiti recycle bin when thge security guard comes thru, talks about paying .14 for 20 trhings in a sack and the manager almost having a heart attack. It's not fancy but it hit home.

i have dealt with people like that, including family members. It's a hobby that only costs me a couple of newspapers and a couple of hours of my time but it's my time to use. I try to ignore comments like that and remember the compliments from strangers i have gotten on my coupon binder or the amount i have saved. I have a couple of friends that are thankful for my hobby because they know i will share them if we go shopping together. One gives me her inserts because she barely has enough time to breathe let alone cut out coupons. She's the first one I share with since she's giving me her inserts.

I think the line about not having time to talk because coupons are your life is the best, but then i'm a smartypants and wouldn't hesitate to say that myself.

Well, let her take her snotty attitude elsewhere and overpay- she seemed to think the whole coupon 'magic' just happens on it's own- I'd rather spend my few hours a week as a SAHM matching up coupons and sales and planning my shopping trips then spending hours at a job while someone else raises my little one! Couponing isn't for everyone, but there's no need to be rude- sounds like you're smart enough to realize it's HER issue, not yours!
