Help confused by wording on coupons
Can some one give me some insight on this
If a coupon says $1.00 off any item (listed on the coupon with in size limits and all the fine print ) but there is a picture that shows the size/product
ok does this mean any product the company makes that is on the coupon or is it good only for the product pictured ? TIA some coupons state any product but some stores will argue it is only for the product picture. I'm hoping some one can clarify this for me.DH's chemo has ended and his Radiation treatments end Mon May 14 yeah...!!

Any means any, the picture is just an example - unless it says "any of the products pictured"

If it says "any product" it means any product from that mfr. Obviously some companies are not going to be able to picture every product they make on a 3" long coupon! Some of the dimmer cashiers will argue with you, just ask for a manager to come clarify the issue. If they won't accept it, keep the coupon, don't buy the item. Shop for it elsewhere.

The reason I ask is Marcel small steps had coupons for- 2.00 off any tp so I bought 4- 4 roll packs they were 1.99 the cashier said the coupon was no good because it had a picture of a bigger roll so there was a big thing to do with these coupons they took the coupons but said they should not have I told her I could use them some where else it really was not a big deal ( I try very hard to use coupons for what they are suppose to be used for and I always ask so I know I 'm doing right.) I went back and told the supervisor if I was wrong I would leave my number and I would pay the difference she said no they went through okay so no worries . I just wanted make sure I had not done some thing wrong thank you all for your input.

The picture on the coupon is not what the cashier should be going by - she should look at what the print says.

I wish we had 4 roll packs here. We only have single rolls and the BIG size ( don't know how many rolls in that one )
I been using the single ones and getting stocked up on that size. I will have some coupons in a few days that are good for $ 2 off and don't think I can use them locally.
Pictures would just be an example of what you can buy.

I think everyone is correct. When you go to the couponers sites that is most common complaint-interpretation. But it is up to what is says not what she thinks. Oh and just to cause trouble Scooby8 I have more for you.lol.

Any means any and you used the coupon correctly. However, watch the Marcal coupons. Many of them say limit one per customer.

Yes any means on any, some cashiers do try and say its only on the product pictured but I usually point out where it says any if they still won't take it I don't buy it
And the $2 coupons mentioned above are not just for the big packages (I used the four I had this week and got four 4packs for free) I have noticed that most companys will picture their biggest product size or most expenisve item because most of us don't take the time to realize that any means any

For the marcal ...
we only have the single and the 24 pkg size.
Today while using 3 of the 1.00 off one , on the singles...
I found the 24 pkg regular $ 8 something....on sale for
4.99 ...then minus my $ 2 coupon...ended up being 2.99
plus tax for 24 rolls. I bought 2 of them.
I was able to use all 5 of my marcal coupons in 1 transaction.--------My signature--------
