    DH used rebate card!

DH usually goes to REI to get his sportswear, shoes, etc. Last weekend we went to look for clearance item, found a pair of bike-shorts reduced to $20 (org $65), great!
After we got home, he's been thinking that it was a great deal, so today he went back to get another pair, & this time he remember to mention that he had a rebate card (but didn't know if there is any balance in it), it had $15 in it!!!
So this 2nd pair of pants only cost $5. Well, if you average it out, it only costed $12.50 each pair. I think DH did well & deserves &

My DH got his own Kroger card. He now downloads coupons for borders or asks up at the front desk. Guys can get it too. ENcourage and applaud him.

Thanks for your words of encouragement, I told DH about your comments, & he smiles.
DH is getting better in using rebate card & gift card (he keeps forgetting to have them with him), he actually clips Costco coupons & uses them, but both of us haven't use any other coupons, not enough time to organize & watch sales too closely to make the most of couponing.

It's been interesting to watch the men become increasingly more involved in our frugal point of view. I didn't know if my DH would ever catch on and he is!! You are right - they do deserve praise and rewards!!
