It would seem I hit the jackpot with Publix finally. Since we've moved here I have yet to get any of the home mailers with coupons. From what I can tell, Publix issues quite a few and quite frequently. So I started emailing them. First it was to find out if they doubled coupons in FL (they don't, but at least you can stack MFQ's with Publix Q's.) Then, I saw where they issued 2010 calendars only to pull them weeks into the new year because of....well, we'll just say a "difference of opinion" on what Dec. 7th's spot should have written in it... So I emailed them again, noticing that the press release said they pulled the calendars from retail. I was hoping they could still send them out by request (they can't/won't.) THEN, the Viva Italia promo was going several weeks ago. I have a hard time finding these coupon booklets in the stores around here. So I emailed them AGAIN, asking if they could mail me the flyer. Well today I got an envelope from Publix. Inside was a letter of apology that my home "had been missed" when promotional flyers were sent out and that my name and address had been added to the mailing list. YIPPEE!!! FINALLY. The envelope also had a coupon inside for $5 off of $20 So I guess the point of this post is; If you want promotional mailings from your favorite grocery store, bug the crap out of them! It seems to have worked for me LOL
