    Default Shoppers Optimum Points (Canadian)

I save all my Shoppers-type shopping for the days when they have 20x Points Days, and I accumulate about $25/month in points.

I have used points to buy a digital camera, a digital photo frame, dvd's and boxes of chocolates (all gifts)...this is a great Christmas time strategy.

Their frequent shopper points (Optimum) doesn't really count as coupons though - least not to me.

I find that Shoppers Drug Mart marks up their prices if you're not aware. Their flyer ad's make it seem like a great sale price, and it is - against their every day sale price.

I normally buy my HBA items at Walmart/Zellers even the grocery store sometimes b/c they have better pricing. Shoppers to me is a last minute resort and if I'm in a pinch, I'm willing to pay that premium.

I prob have about $100 in points but I generally save up a few years and then use the points to buy a perfume when one runs out.

I shop 20x days if they have something we normally use. They often have toilet paper, tissues, gluten free crackers, organic peanut butter, and supplements that we use and are well priced. I then spend on extra days e.g. $85 for the points usually used for $75. I had ~$500 saved last year. They also sell some electronics at the same cost of other stores so we will purchase them there as well.
