    Default coupon printing question

    Hello!

I'm in the market for a new printer. For printing out web coupons and such do stores accept black and white printed coupons or not?

    Thanks in advance!

Yes, they absolutely do. Some of the printed coupons will even say "this coupon can be in color or b & w". I'm going to get a cheapo printer just for the purpose of printing them in B & W because our printer only will do them in color. The color ink is too expensive to waste.

I think as long as the bar code will scan and you can read what it says you are good to go.

I have a black laser printer and have never had a problem.

yes, in fact you can set it to grey to save more ink. I buy my paper and my printers at garage sales. You can print the coupon and flip the paper to print on the other end.
Also if you don't know. They will let you print 2 of everything.

I have never had a problem. One cashier once told me that as long as the barcode scans then they will accept them.

Actually at Meijers some of the nice cashiers will type the bar code if it doesn't scan.

My stores accept IP's (internet printables,) however, I would call the store(s) that YOU typically shop at to make sure they accept printed coupons, color or black and white. A lot of stores stopped accepting IP's because of fraudulent use. For example; right now there is a FREE Doritos coupon going around in a pdf. file that is completely fictitious. I would just give your stores a call, just to make sure they still take them. JMHO
