    Default Had fun playing "the coupon game" yesterday

    I haven't done this in ages. I've gone lazy, and quite frankly had lost my interest.... but yesterday may have just put a new spring in my step.

    I went to Rite Aid, CVS and Walgreens. This is what I bought:

    Tylonol Creme
    Autumn Mix candy corn
    Wisk 75oz
    Aussie Hair spray
    Colgate toothpaste
    Impruv Lotion
    Twix (Walgreens "filler)
    6 pack of Ramen noodles
    3 containers of "cheesy noodles"
    Old El Paso refried beans

    Total out of pocket at the three stores COMBINED....... $3.17!!!

    but wait.....

    I received $12.99 in "coupon/rewards" to use at my next trip!!!!

    I'll roll deals like this each week!

    I kinda forgot how much fun that was!!

    I am called "coupon queen" around my house....lol....It has become my hobby to coupon. I LOVE the money I save and the look on other people's faces when I walk out of the store paying a few cents for my purchases!
    Way to go on your couponing and I also see that you are moving back to the midwest!! I KNOW you prayed hard for that!

    Great going! This Walgreens/CVS is one I can't get down. I've gotten a few "bucks' or whatever back to use the next time but just can't get the hang of it.
    You did fantastic! Legally beating the system is a wonderful thing to do
    Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

    Great buys.

    Just went to CVS also. They had a table with 90% markdowns. I was able to get flipflops, crocks, 3 MP3 players -- all bought Extra Care Bucks. Love playing with coupons.

    My daughter in law thought I was crazy til I showed her how it worked at CVS. Now she has most of her Christmas completed by couponing.
