I'm tired just reading that! lol

I went Monday to do my weekly grocery shopping and then found a site for couponing. I'm floored by how much you can save when you get into it! I was going to check for old Sunday papers last night but will try today. If I don't find any, I'll check today's paper. Wednesdays are also good insert days around here. Or at least used to be.

You didn't put me to sleep though...just got me psyched up!

WOW! you didn't bore me at all! I can read these kinda posts all day, and be very happy about it! you got some awesome deals there, and the prices for the brats and boneless pork chops is unheard of anymore....at least down here.

But you're right! That was ALOT of shopping, but your stocked for a long while. That makes it ALL worth-while. I know I can get pretty stressed with it all, and almost always make some sorta mistake. But after all is said and done, you just can't beat those numbers no matter what! Even store brands seem to cost too much after you get other things with coupons. And as long as I can keep my stock-pile from dwindling too much, it will always be this way. I know you agree when i say it's just an excellent way of beating the high prices!

    Enjoyed your post!

You did really good. Btw, do you use sites like: Giant Food Store Coupon Matchups 03/14 or I Heart Kroger for your matchups? Or do you do them yourself? I've found that using those sites saves me SO much time. Plus they list out what Sunday inserts the coupons are from, so instead of clipping coupons every Sunday, I just take a permanent marker and write the date on the outside cover of the insert. Keep them in a file and then each week you can just go in and clip the coupons you actually need that week...after looking at the match-ups from one of the sites of course Or if you need a coupon for an item you buy that doesn't go on sale, you can use something like http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthr...49998&t=722144, which keeps a running list in ABC order of unexpired Sunday insert coupons.

Just thought it might save you some time!

We had a Kroger back in Indiana, and I have to say I really miss their 10/$10 deals and their store brands are the best I've ever had. Do you load electronic coupons on your store card? If you don't you can go to their site to create an account with the number on the back of your card. There's a coupon section and you can load any and all coupons you think you might use. Just be sure to have them scan your Kroger card AFTER they scan all of your groceries, or the coupon values won't come off your total.

Great deals, sahm. You did a terrific job. Bet you're glad it's over.

Yesterday I went to Drug Mart with a bunch of coupons. For $34 I got:

    4 regular size Cheer
    2 big Downy
    1 Gain fab. softener
    2 Edy's ice cream(1 is pumpkin- Delicious)
    2snack size bags Butterfinger
    2 snack size Nestles Crunch
2 snask size bags Kit Kats
    2 bags Tootsie Pops

The candy is for Trick or Treat if I can stay out of it. I thought I did pretty darn good!
