Couponing & holidays

I am very new to couponing. So far i have only been getting the Sunday paper and cutting coupons out of that, trying to match those coupons to manufacturer coupons and store sales (something i used to never do, stupid of me).

I believe i read somewhere that there's no point in getting the Sunday paper before a holiday weekend. Is this true? If it is, i should not get the paper until after new years?

Well that used to be the schedule but I have lost out many times not buying the paper on the holiday weekend thinking there would be no coupons and then low and behold there were some. I would say it is best to go to the store and actually look at all the inserts in the paper to be sure. If there are coupons then buy the papers if not skip it. I check my papers everytime to be sure I get them on the weeks there are coupons in them. There is nothing more frustrating than getting the papers home and the coupons are not in there.

Taylortown I think has a coupon schedule.

There is an e-mail you can get for the coupon review of which ones are coming out. I get them I tried to look in my e-mail for the address but could not find it. Maybe someone else here could be more helpful.

are you on facebook if so there are several people pages that go with blogs you can like that will tell you how many inserts to expect each week ahead of time even help match up coupons and sales

Google Sunday coupon preview- there is a website that tells you exactly what's coming out. Of course it varies slightly region to region.
