how to get couon for babies r us?

I am buying my sister a shower gift (stroller) and am looking for a 20% coupon for babies r us. Does anyone know where to find one? I googled coupon codes, set up a profile on their site, liked them on facebook... nothing. Any ideas?

~We're members of their rewards club and get 20% off coupons several times a year. They usually exclude all the big brands in the fine print though.
BRU does usually run trade-in event a few times a year where your trade-in(old highchair, carseat, get one on freecycle) acts as a coupon and there are no exclusions on what you can buy.
How soon do you need the gift? What brand is the stroller? If BRU sends us an applicable coupon soon I'll set it aside for you.~

If you do the transaction through ebates.com you'll get 1% cash back and when you search babies r us at ebates, you'll get this window for coupons/codes:

I have one I can drop in the mail for you - says it's good in store only. Valid 12/30-1/22. Has a bunch of exclusions but nothing about Chicco Cortina. If you want it PM me your address.

So I couldn't find a coupon and needed to have this by sunday so went ahead and placed an order. OMG, what a terrible experience. If I get pregnant, remind me not to register at babies r us!!

Just spent over an hour on this order - they have no record of the first order (yet they charged my card).

Two calls to customer service to two VERY unhelpful sales reps - (the first told me that he "didn't know" because it was "above his pay grade" refused to get a manager on the phone and didn't even offer to help me place a new order. The first time I ordered, they did not charge sales tax, but the second time they did... So now I have charges totaling close to $400 on my cards and just hoping the stupid thing went through.

And of course by the end of the second phone call, I decided to ask for a discount and they said NO. He even (pretended?) to email his supervisor, who said no. He then told me it was not his fault, and my sisters registry has been open for a while. lol.

~Oh my goodness, they were so rude to you! I would be emailing and writing letters until I got satisfaction about that. Your credit card should take care of the extra charge if they don't follow through.~

We want to get the Uptown crib at Babies R Us and have been looking for a 20% off coupon as well. We signed up for their rewards club but haven't gotten anything...If anyone has a 20% off coupon you don't plan to use, we would most appreciate it!!!

Buybuy Baby will email you a 20% off in store only coupon the first time you subscribe for their promotions, if you have one in your area.
I did it just before Christmas and used the coupon to get an outfit for my little girl. Coupon worked great.

I'm really sad to hear that about the customer service from Babies R Us =(

Thanks! I checked their facebook page but the 20% offer was gone. We have a Buy Buy Baby in our area but the Uptown Crib we want to by is exclusive to Babies R Us. I wonder what I am doing wrong. I subscribed to their reward club but no coupons so far...

I've had horrible experiences with buying items from Toys R Us online. They said my item was in stock ad gave me an expected arrival date. Many hours later I got an email that my item was backordered not in stock and I wouldn't have it by the day I needed it- as a matter of fact they couldn't even tell me when I'd have it. I had purchased with gift cards and the item was on sale that week so I asked how quickly I could get my funds returned to gift cards so I could try to buy on sale at the store. They said 2-3 days, by that time the sale would be done. I was livid that they could not give me an anticipated arrival date. But surprise, surprise- the item somehow made it to us by the date I expected.

The 20% off coupon for buybuy baby is off their website
and is for signing up from their email and direct mail sign up. First time you sign up you get the in store coupon emailed to you.

If you go to retailmenot . com you will find it listed there and it will link you directly to where to go on buybuy baby's site.

You can also use bed bath and beyond coupons at buybuy baby since they are owned by the same company.

I just checked and I have an emailed ad from them that has a 20% coupon that looks like it might work. Its off of any regular priced baby gear item and lists bassinets and play yard though not cribs specifically. If you want to pm me your email I will forward it to you. I have found that their ads go into my spam/junk mail filters a lot so you might check that if you are signed up for their email ads.
