Food lion is running a promotion
When you buy food lion brand products you get 25 cents back on your next purchase in a catalina form. (up to 40 items at a time) so you max out at getting 10.00 back
(you have to buy at least four items )

I went yesterday and bought 100 cans of cat food
I know that sounds a little crazy
but I feed 5 cats! ( I promise I am not an old cat lady yet.... lol)

the cat food is on sale for 40 cents a can I bought 40 cans
using a catalina coupon I already had my total was 7.00 and some change
then I got back 10.00
then I did it again
and the third time i mixed in some other items like food lion muffin mix at 79 cents which makes it about 50 cents after the promo coupon savings!! ( think cheap items like ketchup, dried beans and such)
I got lucky because a local food lion here is in competition with a Walmart express that just opened up and both of them are selling bread for 50 cents a loaf......
and food lions bread is food lion brand making it even sweeter they gave me 25 cents back making my bread a quarter! woo hoo
