You can not use two "manufacturer's coupons" on one item. You can usually use one manufacturer's coupon AND one "store coupon", like the ones in the Walgreen's ad or EasySaver catalog.

I look for coupons everywhere. I cut and file almost all of the coupons from the Sunday inserts, except for most of the pet and baby ones, which I trade to people that have pets and/or babies. I collect coupons from magazines, product packages, and "blinkie machines". I also use one of the many "clipping services" that you can find online. I do buy a few coupons from ebay, but they seem to be more expensive. I only use ebay for hard to find coupons for the things I would buy anyway.

One of the most important things to remember for big savings, is to match coupons with sales and stock up!

I agree with Deb, but on occassion I use http://www.couponclippers.com where you can get multiple coupons for less than the price of a Sunday paper, at least in my area. HTH

I use the Coupon Clippers site, too.

Another great way to get coupons is to trade with other people. There's often a swap going on here, or, clip all the extras you don't need and offer to trade a "potluck" with someone else.

Keeping them organized can be hard, but once you find a system you like, it becomes easier. I have a huge file box and keep all my coupons in it, sorted by category.

My Sunday night ritual (well, when I'm on top of things at least) is to go through the newspaper, clip coupons, and then start matching them up with store ads. I make my errand lists for the week based on what store has the needed items on sale. If I can match a sale price with a coupon, I'm happy.

thanks that narrows it down it bit! see i thought you could use only one coupon per item, i will try your suggestions. i checked out ebay last night and i could not believe they had coupon auctions!!!! one deal i thought was cool was the 100 free tide coupons for 100.00!!! but wow 100.00 for coupons!! i did the math and you still save, but something just wont let me shell out that kind of money. btw, since iam on the subject of tide what is the difference between regular old tide and the tide made for H.E. washers? just wondering

Welcome aboard! The ladies have already given you some great advice. Like Amy mentioned, we usually do a swap once per month, but you can also post when you are in search of specific coupons and maybe strike up a trade with someone else.
As for ebay and the free item coupons, you may want to be wary because a lot of the "free" item coupons are counterfeits and the sellers are just trying to con you out of money. I'm sure there are some legitimate "free" item coupon sellers out there, but aren't you curious why someone would have 100 of FREE Tide coupons.
The difference between regular detergent and HE detergent is that HE foams/bubbles up less because it is designed for front end loader washing machines, which use less water.
