    Question Buying Coupons

I know that this has been discussed on here before, but when I did a search for "Buying coupons" I got about 500 threads. I would like to know how you buy coupons...say Walgreens has Pringles on sale for 79 cents this week. How do you go about getting coupons to use on them by the end of the week before the sale is over? Also, do you ever get coupons for chicken breasts or bread or milk?? If so, where??

I think the only coupon available for the Pringles is 30¢ off THREE cans. You would have to pay a handling fee (probably 5¢ for a 30¢ coupon), and there are usually minimum order requirments, and sometimes an administrative fee. If I need coupons for a particular sale, I try to order from a coupon supplier closer to where I live. Sometimes it can take up to one week to get mail from the East coast to Kansas. You might try ebay, also.

Coupons for bread are hard to find around here. I usually buy bread at a bakery thrift store, unless I do have a good coupon to double at the grocery store. Sometimes I do find coupons for Borden's milk. I have had coupons for the bags of frozen Tyson chicken breast, but usually I just buy chicken breast when it is on a good sale and stock up. Two weeks ago, I got 3 lb. bags of boneless skinless breasts for $3.99 each. That is the lowest price I have ever paid, with or without a coupon.

It seems coupons vary from state to state as to the availability. Dean's Milk coupons are sometimes in the paper here, but it is usually cheaper to buy Kroger or Meijer milk even if you use the Dean's milk coupon on Dean's milk. I know that on some trading sites, I have saw posts that say they have wine tags good for $$$ off on poultry, milk, cheese, shrimp, etc., but I haven't ever came across any here in my town.
