There are sveral types of coupon trains but here is a basic rundown:

Several people participate in a "train" and mail a specified amount of coupons to one another, the coupons usually have expire dates of 2-3 weeks from the mailing date. Some trains are pretty specific in the types of coupons that can be sent, other trains are more of a potluck variety and any coupon can be sent. Double Coupons are usually limited and "shortdated" coupons; the Q's that expire before the required train date are accepted but usually do not count towards the required train amount.

Some riders do not prefer to receive "printables", store specific Q's, etc.

Some trains start with 1 person and get mailed to the next rider in line. Then that rider mails to the next and so on.

I have a coupon train started here on FV now where I have a requirement of a 2 week commitment. I "assign" you a person to mail to and you will mail to that same person for the next 2 weeks.

Usually on a train you will make a "Wishlist" of your wants and also let everyone know what you Do Not Want. For example, I am never interested in baby items...my "baby" is 17 y/o

If you have 30 coupons and would like to join our Septemeber Super Savings Train for the next 2 weeks, PM me with your addy. Go post your Wishes on the Coupon Trading Board under the Sept. Super Savings Train thread.

Thanks for the info. Although I don't have that many coupons I'll let my daughter know and maybe she would be interested.
