HI. i beleive some stores on certain days will offer you double or triple value for your one coupon. So i beleive it depends on the store you go to.

Some stores have double coupons all the time...
Typically, you give them a coupon and they will double the face value of it. Most stores will only double coupons 50 cents or less.

Thank you!!! I am not new to frugality, I have been frugal since I have been born
Which is weird because my family is the complete opposite, ANYWAY Thanks
BTW, when you use coupons, do you give them to the sales person at the beginning, the end, or place them with the items?

Just ask the cashier, it depends on the store sometimes. Reg. grocery stores I give at the end usually unless it's a coupon for a free item where they need to write the amount on the coupon. I point that out at the beginning.
At military commissaries we have to give the coupons before they start.

I give them at the end, unless it is for a free product, then I put it with the item.

As a former cashier, I will ask you to PLEASE give us the free coupons up front, along with the item. Not only do we have to write it down, but we usually have to key in the amount of the free coupon.
As for the rest of the coupons, I prefer to get them at the end, and please hold on to them until I am done, then give them to me. I've had people hand me coupons, and then forgotten them. They left not knowing and it upset me. If they are given at the end, then there's less of a chance of forgetting. You can just put the stack of them on top of the last item, or hand them to the cashier at the very end.

My Kroger does double, even if the coupon itself says "do not double." But that may vary from store or region to region. I don't know about that.
The Brookshire's I use for specials (only) will only double the first one if you have more than one. But Kroger cheerfully seems to take whatever you have. You might need to check the store's policy on how many of the same coupons they will double.Donna

I wish the stores around here doubled/tripled coupons. Not a single one around here!

I've never tried using coupons that say do not double on them. I will give it a try next time.

Some stores have limits on the number of "like" coupons you can double/triple. So, if I have 5 coupons for Ragu and buy 5 jars, they will only double/triple 4 of my coupons.
