    Default Selling my car!

I have decided to sell my car and pay off my loan. DH and I are both off for the summer, so we don't need two cars. Plus we are relocating to NY in August, so that will save us all of the GAS to get it up there!

Plus it will save insurance and taxes. Then, I can be listed as primary driver on DHs truck with my clean driving record, that should save us some coin. Once we both get jobs in NY, I will get a cheapo used fuel efficient car. And DH will be listed as the primary driver on that with no collision.

Dave would be so proud! I know I am!

Sounds like a great plan! Hope you have an easy move -- if there is such a thing.

I bow to your superior hard core-ed-ness. Great plan!
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

Good luck! We just listed my car for sale today...and I sure hope we can sell it. We want to buy a way less expensive car because I don't want to have car payments anymore! It was a dumb move to get it, but we're trying to make that right now.
