    Default Planning for moving

We have a few ideas of what stuff we'll have to pay for on/around moving day pertaining to the move itself. (No, our house hasn't sold yet, but we're just trying to plan ahead.)

SAM storage unit - move from one house to the next $75
    U-Haul - high estimate $125
"renting" a college dude to help with the 3-4 heavy things that pg me can't help with - $10

    Anything we're missing?

double the uhaul for two - three days
    babysitter
    cleaning supplies
    11% gross to retirement
10% takehome to tithe and offerings
emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
    credit card debt 7500

Garbage bags. We found it helpful to pack soft items such as sheets, blankets & clothing in garbage bags. Takes up less space & helps fill in the gaps in the truck.

Thanks, everyone! I feel much more prepared. I actually find free boxes from Craigslist (and have a huge pile still in the garage ready to be used), and I already got all the packing tape and Sharpies I should need (I got a lot . Never even thought of food. Duh...
