Finally checked my credit report ...

I started doing the Dave Ramsey plan about 6 months ago. It is so empowering to be in control of my money instead of burying my head in the sand. I knew I had a lot of debt, but it wasn't until I finally added it up that it hit me. I've actually been making some good progress and have paid off a number of smaller credit cards. The one thing I couldn't bring myself to do was to check my credit report. Don't know why.....other than afraid of what I might find? Everytime I thought about it I just had a sinking feeling in my gut, but I knew I should check it just to be sure there wasn't anything there that shouldn't be.

Well, I finally did it! I feel stupid that I waited so long - nothing there to be afraid of. Now to kick the rest of this debt to the curb!

Congrats!!! It might seem like a small thing, but in actuality taking those last few baby steps is HUGE!

I have noticed that gazelle debt reduction has really brought up my credit scores. Kind of like two for the price of one--getting rid of debt and improving credit scores--can't beat that!
