Paid off the CC and ready to roll my snowball!
I paid off my credit card early(wasn't due to pay off until Sept) but with a little do without and a lot of nose to the grindstone we paid $1546.90 on it this month and now when it clears the bank it is gone!
Whoop Whoop!
Now I owe $3500 on my car.
My payment is $310 but I have paid $400 on it each month for 13 months so I am ahead with both bank online and paper bill saying I don't have to send payment until Sept. My Sept bill is $149.
Yeah right, nice try.....
So here is the new plan...
I take the $300 a month from the CC and the $400 car payment and snowball.
New car payment $700. New payoff SEPTEMBER of 2009 (unless I find extra like I did with the CC) so the funny part is it will be paid off before they say I even have to make a payment and well over a year early.
This will be the first car dh and I ever bought and paid off or didn't trade in and get on the wrong side of.
I am proud of us.
We have finally grown up.Last edited by Cricketlegs; 04-30-2009 at 11:00 AM.

Awesome job, Cricket!
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"
